About Mrs. Hammond
I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Grand Valley State Univeristy in 2004. I am currently back at GVSU working towards my Masters in Early Childhood. I'm originally from Traverse City, but after attending GVSU I stayed in the G.R. area.
I've been with WMAES for 5.5 years. I started my journey with the school as the Kindergarten Aide in February of 2006. In the fall of 2006 I was offered the new Pre-K teacher position, and began the adventure of starting the Pre-K program. This is the 6th year of the program and I love it. It develops more and more each year!
I married my husband 3 years ago on the beach in Jamaica. Bryan and I have 2 lively cats, Jazmine & Aladdin, that keep us entertained. Who knew cats could be more of a handful than children?
I enjoy being outside, going to the movies, and scrapbooking when I have time.
